Day 2 Old Orhei - Cricova - City Tour Old Orhei Early in the morning, we will travel to the Old Orhei region, where you will have the opportunity to visit the rock monastery, admire the fantastic views of the valley, explore the traditional village, and enjoy lunch in a rustic atmosphere. Cricova Wine Cellars Next, we will visit the Cricova wine cellars. The wines from the Cricova collection have a long history: the oldest bottle dates back to 1902. The local guide will tell you the odyssey of some bottles from this collection that arrived here after World War II. At the end of the tour, you can taste 4 samples of the most famous wines. Upon returning to Chișinău, you will have a walking tour of the city center, where you will also receive some suggestions for dinner. Day 3 Bender - Tiraspol - KVINT On this day, we will travel back in time to the USSR, visiting the self-proclaimed independent territory of Transnistria. First, you will visit the Bender Fortress - where Charles XII stayed with his army, and which is now used by 14 Russian armies. After the fortress tour, a city tour in Tiraspol follows. You will visit the monument of Vladimir Lenin and the remaining tanks from World War II. This city seems to be a ghost of the Soviet past, truly fascinating. Finish the day with a trip to the KVINT brandy distillery, where you will have the chance to taste 5 types of brandy and also purchase some as a gift. Day 4 Asconi Winery - Castel Mimi Today is definitely all about Wine Day! First up is a visit to the Asconi Winery. Here, Moldovan traditions and colors meet the unforgettable taste of local wine. Not only will you listen and see the winemaking process, but you will also taste wines paired with delicious rustic dishes that will leave you wanting more. It's a great place for those who want to see authentic Moldovan life, as the place is full of beautiful decorations gathered from all over the country! The next stop is Castel Mimi, a very modern winery with a beautiful look and fantastic wines! In 2011, one of the most ambitious restoration projects in Moldova's history began, at the end of which Castel Mimi regained its charming appearance from the beginning of the last century. The winery has undergone an intensive modernization process, equipped with the best advanced equipment for wine production, storage, and bottling, which are unique in Moldova. Day 5 Departure After check-out, you will be transferred to the airport.
